SFBR Diversion Project
Public Involvement

An evaluation of potential project alternatives and associated environmental impacts is required to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations. The evaluation will be documented in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The US Forest Service (USFS) is the Lead Federal Agency making the NEPA decision, specifically, the Mountain Home Ranger District on the Boise National Forest.

Public participation is a cornerstone of NEPA and highly valued to the USFS and Elmore County leadership. In the future, this page will provide public scoping information, opportunities, and documentation. Please feel free to send comments and questions in the contact form below at any point in the project.
